📅 Peer Pressure – Daily Bible Reading

March 27, 2022

Today’s reading: Proverbs 13:20

Peer pressure

Peer pressure can be positive or negative. In Matthew 21:1-11, we see how the people warmly welcomed and praised Yahshua as He entered Bethphage. All of the multitudes followed Yahshua and shouted Hosanna.

However, after just a few weeks, perhaps the same people who shouted “Hosanna” are the same people who were now shouting, “Crucify Him.”

You see, human beings have this herd mentality.

They begin to behave the way the people around them behave.

Peer pressure can be a wonderful thing, but it can also lead to a lot of trouble.

What makes the difference is the people whom you spend your time with.

Proverbs 13:20 tells us:

20 He who walks with wise men will be wise,
But the companion of fools will be destroyed.

So, choose your companions wisely.
