It’s quite astonishing to know what the world’s billionaires think about religion, especially the Christian Faith.
Recently, Musk had an interview with The Babylon Bee, a popular Christian satire site. For those who don’t know Elon Musk, he was considered to be the richest man in the world. You can read more about him in this biography.
So, you might be thinking, what’s so especially about the interview?
Well, in that interview, the interviewer asks Musk if he wants to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
Musk didn’t say, yes, but rather, he says he respects and agrees with the principles that Jesus advocates. He also said in the past that he prayed for his Space X project.
Here’s the YouTube video where you can watch the full interview.
This brings to mind what the Apostle Paul wrote thousands of years ago:
26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence.
1 Corinthians 1:26-29
So, don’t be surprised if you don’t see the world’s billionaires attending church services. Don’t be surprised that most of the world’s popular and most influential people are not spiritually active.
While you can’t do anything about them, you can continue to shine as a light to this dark world so that when people see your example, they will glorify our Father in heaven.
