Matthew 5:3-5
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:1-5
At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

The book of Acts is like a history book of the first-century Christians. It gives us a glimpse of the life of God’s Church during the early centuries of Christianity.
Acts 20:18-19
And when they had come to him, he said to them: “You know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I always lived among you, serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears and trials which happened to me by the plotting of the Jews.”

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.
2 Timothy 2:24-26

2 Timothy 3:1-5

Aside from Paul, there are also other writers of the New Testament. These include James, Peter, John, and Jude. They all have something to say about humility as well.
James 4:6
But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:
“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
1 Peter 5:5-7
