Over the years since I became part of the Body of the Messiah, I have seen people come and go. There is no doubt the true Church of God is not immune to division. However, when I try to examine why people leave the Church, most of them, if not all, leave for the wrong reasons.

Most people think that being a Christian is boring and that when you follow God, you need to give up the “fun” things in life.

Mainstream Christianity talks about the law being nailed to the cross or the law as being done away with. They think that Christians are free from the law and they can do whatever they want as long as it makes them feel good.

A lot of Christians today would read that and conclude that the laws of God has been nailed to the cross and therefore, rendered powerless and not relevant anymore.

Mainstream Christianity thought that Heaven is the reward for the righteous; however, this belief is not supported by the Bible. John 3:13, which was written after the death of Christ mentioned this:

You probably have heard people saying, “Don’t judge others” or “Who are you to judge?” They will be quick to quote, Matthew 7:1, which says, “Judge not, that you be not judged.” The problem is that most people simply stop in verse 1. If you read Matthew 7:1-5, you’ll learn that the main point of Yahshua or Jesus Christ is to judge yourself first before judging others. He is telling us to remove the plank from our own eye so that we can remove the speck from our brother’s eye.
