You probably have heard one of the most popular Christian songs entitled, “Amazing Grace.” However, have you ever wondered what’s so amazing about grace?

Rom 6:23 tells us:

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Since every one of us has sinned, all of us are going to die, never to be seen again. That’s how hopeless life is. 

Grace is the unmerited or underserved favor that we receive from God. Because of His great love toward us, He gives us grace, so much more that He let His Son to die for us.

Because of grace, Jesus Christ or properly known as Yahshua the Messiah took the penalty of sin upon Himself and died in our place. Instead of us paying for our sins, He paid for it with His precious blood so that all of us will have the opportunity to receive eternal life and be part of God’s family.

Now that is how amazing grace is!
