Our human nature wants to control every aspect of life—our relationships, careers, and even the future.

But surrendering to God is freeing. It’s about saying, “Lord, I trust that Your plan is better than mine.”

As Jesus (Yahshua) reminds us in Matthew 16:24, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”

Surrender isn’t weakness; it’s strength through faith.

When you surrender your plans to God, you’re inviting His peace and power into your life. Let go of your grip and let God take the lead.


Step 2: Renew Your Mind with God’s Word

Every day, our minds are pulled in a hundred directions.

We’re flooded with opinions, news, and messages that can pull us away from what’s true.

Romans 12:2 encourages us to be transformed by the “renewing of [our] mind” so we can understand God’s will.

Start each day by immersing yourself in Scripture.

Even if it’s just a few verses, reflect on them, pray through them, and allow God’s truth to sink deep.

His Word will realign your focus, remind you of your purpose, and give you the wisdom to tackle whatever comes.


Step 3: Choose Faith Over Fear

A Christ-centered mindset doesn’t ignore fears but faces them through faith.

We live in a world full of uncertainties, but choosing faith over fear means trusting that God is always working for our good, even when we can’t see it.

Remember the words of 2 Timothy 1:7: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.”

Each time you feel fear creeping in, pray and hand those worries over to God. Choose to believe in His promises instead of letting fear dictate your thoughts and actions.
