What do you feed your mind?

In this post, let me share with you a beautiful story that teaches you about the importance of choosing what you think.

Here’s an inspiring and thought-provoking story that you should not skip.

An old Cherokee was teaching his grandson about life.

He said, “I feel as if I have two wolves fighting in my heart.

One wolf is vengeful, jealous, angry, and violent.

The other wolf is loving and compassionate.”

The grandson thought about this for a minute and then asked him, “Which wolf will win the fight?”

The grandfather replied, “The one I feed.”

How about you?

Which one do you feed?

Do you feed the bad wolf or the good wolf?

In life, the one that we put our focus on are the ones we feed our minds with.

If you focus more on your problems, you magnify them.

If you focus on your blessings, you also magnify them.

You have the power to change your perspective in life.

It is either you concentrate on things that you don’t have to the point it makes you bitter, angry, and frustrated.

OR…

You can focus on God’s goodness, blessings, and grace.

Either way, you are feeding one aspect of your life while starving another.

So, which one would you feed?

The bottom line is this:

Feed your mind with the things of God and you will have a more beautiful mind.

Feed your mind with the things of this world and you will have a worldly mind.

The Apostle Paul instructs us:

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthymeditate on these things (Philippians 4:8).

So, think about these things.

Not just think of them, but meditate upon them.

When you do, you are starving the wolf that represents bitterness, anger, and violence.

Eventually, the wolf will get weaker and weaker until it won’t have a huge influence on you anymore.

Be careful which one you feed because whatever you feed, it will live, grow, and becomes your reality.
