What Jesus or Yahshua really said about heaven will shock you. Most Christians today believe that when a righteous person dies, he will immediately go to heaven.
Is that what the Bible really teaches? Notice what Jesus said in John 3:12-13:
12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.
Now that will shock a lot of people. Christians believe that they will go to heaven immediately when they die. Yet, that’s totally contrary to what Jesus said!
Instead of going to heaven, Christ taught that righteous people who die will remain in the grave until the time of resurrection.
