πŸ“… He is risen – Daily Bible Reading

April 14, 2022

Today’s reading: Matthew 28:6

He is risen

Probably, the most earth-shaking and world-changing statement in the Bible is found in Matthew 28:6:

6 He is not here; for He is risen.

Among the world’s leaders of the largest religions, it is only Yahshua who has been resurrected. Siddharta Gautama, Zoroaster, Mohammad, Confucius, and all the rest are still in their tomb.

The resurrection was a game-changer.

It was the litmus paper of Yahshua’s messiahship.

It was the ultimate proof of what He claimed to be.

Because of this, the new age of the Church of Yahweh has started. Coward and weak apostles became courageous and bold. The followers of Christ spread from a small and obscure town to the rest of the world.

The resurrection is no doubt the strongest proof of our faith. It proves that there is life after death β€” that there’s more to life than we experience today. It does not only prove Yahshua’s claims, but also the claim of the entire Scripture!

The resurrection gives us hope. It gives us a glimpse of the ultimate reward that we will have if we endure until the end.

The resurrection makes all the suffering, pain, and struggle worth it.
