πŸ“… Be always ready – Daily Bible Reading

March 6, 2022

Today’s reading: Genesis 41:14

Be always ready

We read in Genesis 41:14:

And Pharaoh sent and called for Yoseph, and they hurriedly brought him out of the pit; and when he had shaved himself and changed his clothes, he came to Pharaoh.

It’s quite interesting that without warning, Yoseph was called to the Palace before the Pharaoh. He was hurriedly taken out of prison.

Joseph’s once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is now before him.

Did he have time to prepare?

Actually, God has been preparing Joseph for this moment!

For the past years, all the hardships, trials, and challenges that Joseph faced were all part of God’s purpose to mold him into the great leader that he needed to be.

As you can see, all those setbacks were actually God setting Him up for a greater role he will take in the land of Egypt.

We can learn something from this.

When we have the right godly character and an intimate relationship with God, we can always be ready to meet opportunities and challenges in our lives.

Not because we are great, but Yahweh is great.
