A correction from my last post

Hello friends,

I would like to correct what I have written this week. The title was, “When God Obeys, Even Satan Listens.”

I have already deleted the post.

I mentioned on that blog that Satan will not obey God. A reader of mine mentioned that Satan does obey God. The example he mentioned was the story of Job.

I actually thought of Job when I wrote the blog, but I felt that because of the rebellious attitude of Satan, he will not obey God. However, the story of Job showed us that even Satan obeyed God in the hour of testing Job.

Upon studying further the Scripture, I concluded that my initial blog wasn’t completely correct. God is always in control and He is the supreme ruler of this vast universe. That means that even Satan will obey although not with a willing heart.

So, thanks to my reader for pointing this one out.

Learning is a continuous process and we are all here to support each other.

By the way, here’s the copy of the blog that I wrote if in case you are curious and you want to read it.

When God orders, even the Devil obeys

I have read a story that I would like to share with you and it goes like this.

Story:

A very poor woman called a radio station asking for help from God. A non-believer who was also listening to this radio program decided to make fun of the woman.

He got the woman’s address from the radio station and told his secretary to carry a large amount of foodstuff to the woman.

However, he gave the following instruction, “When the woman asks who sent the food, tell her that it’s from the devil.”

When the secretary arrived at the woman’s house, the woman was happy and grateful for the help received.

She started putting the food packets inside her small house. The secretary then asked her, ”Don’t you want to know who sent the food?”

The woman replied, ”No, I don’t care because when GOD orders, even the DEVIL obeys.”

What’s wrong with this story?

Do you notice anything wrong with this story?

Can you spot the error?

If you’re not careful, you might miss a hidden problem in this story.

I have seen this story being shared a lot of times on Facebook and it gets a lot of shares and likes.

The problem is that a lot of Christians don’t actually know who the devil is because they believe this story to be something true.

Well, let me tell you, friends, Satan the devil will never obey God.

Satan is the father of lies. He is the very representation of everything that is against the Most High. He is the accuser, the instigator, and the enemy of God.

Here’s the good news

While it is true that Satan will never obey God, Satan is still no match against God.

God’s will overthrows Satan’s will.

When God demands, even Satan will be powerless.

If we have God’s divine protection, Satan can’t touch us.

Satan can’t do anything against us.

This reminds me of James 2:19:

“You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!”

Satan and his demons are nothing against God.

Yahweh is the supreme Ruler of this vast universe.

As the Creator of all things, He has the authority over all things or beings — including Satan.

In the future, God will step into this world’s affairs, send back His Son, and remove Satan from this world.

Going back to the story — yes, Satan won’t obey God, but God is still powerful than Satan. At the end of it all, God will reign victorious and as long as we are on His side, we will also become victorious!
