Can We Really Trust Santa Claus? 10 SHOCKING Ways He Deceives Us

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear Christmas? Is it Jesus or Santa Claus? For most people, it is always certain that these two figures pop up to their minds. However, there is no denying that Santa Claus has taken the CENTER STAGE of Christmas, especially to the children.

This should not be a surprise since Christmas has not been about Jesus Christ in the first place. A quick look at any reliable source will reveal that December 25 is not the day Jesus was born and it is a pagan festival recycled as a “Christian” holiday.

In this blog post, I want us to focus our mind to the man they call Santa Claus. While he may be an exponential popular figure during this time of year, it is very important for us to realize that he has DECEIVED us. From the moment we were taught about him as a child to the moment we thought we should have known better.

For this reason, let me share with you 10 ways how Santa Claus deceived us. I could not overemphasize the importance of reading this article to the very end. So please, READ ON.

Deception no. 1: Name of Santa Claus

The origin of the name “Santa Claus” comes from the Dutch form “San Nicolaas”. San Nicolaas stem from the name of St. Nicholas, the bishop of the city of Myra in southern Asia Minor (though there is little or enough evidence to prove his existence). He is a Catholic saint honored by the Greeks and the Latins on December 6.

At this point in time, we should ask, how was a man living in the warm and hot country of Turkey eventually got to the North Pole? The simple answer is that he was later associated with the Northern European gods Woden and Thor. This was done to “Christianize” pagan gods.

Santa Claus is known to be a carpenter. A carpenter’s most common tool is the hammer. This is reminiscent to the weapon of the pagan god, Thor – his hammer. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

The nickname of Santa Claus is Old Nick. You might be surprised that Old Nick is a well-known British name of the devil. Make a quick google search of “Old Nick” and you will soon discover this is true.

Maybe you have noticed it already, but THE NAME SANTA CAN EASILY BE TRANSFORM FROM “SANTA” TO SATAN”. Don’t think this is just a coincidence. Anagrams – a word, phrase, or name formed by rearranging the letters – are a common ancient occult practice to hide the real meaning of a certain message.

How about the name Claus? It can also be rearranged to become “Lucas”. Lucas and Lucis are new-age words for Lucifer.

Deception no. 2: Santa Claus entering our house through the Chimney

If you have a sane mind and you think of a man in the middle of the night enters your house through the chimney, what do you call him? Definitely, you will call that person as a ROBBER OR A THIEF.

Jesus has this to say:

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way [THE CHIMNEY], the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. THE THIEF DOES NOT COME EXCEPT TO STEAL, AND TO KILL, AND TO DESTROY. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:1, 10).

NEVER allow Santa come in your house. NEVER!

Deception no. 3: Kris Kringle

In the US, the name Kris Kringle is used to refer to Santa Claus. But do you know that the Kris Kringle is derived from the German word Christkindl? It means little Christ child.

In effect, every time we call Santa as Kris Kringle, we are calling him JESUS CHRIST! Can you imagine giving the glory and honor of Jesus Christ to Santa Claus?! This is certainly what Satan wants, to steal the glory of God and let people worship him.

Deception no. 4: White beard and hair

Santa is commonly pictured as someone with white hair and beard. Who would have inspired people to make Santa appear like this but no other than Satan himself? For Satan knows how the glorified Jesus looks like. Jesus is pictured in revelation 1:13-14 as someone who has white hair and beard.

“And in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His HEAD AND HAIR WERE WHITE LIKE WOOL, AS WHITE AS SNOW, and His eyes like a flame of fire.” Compare with Daniel 7:9.

Again, Satan wants to become like God and would like to do every thing to make himself look like Jesus Christ.

Deception no. 5: Red Suit

Santa is again pictured in a red suit. Red is the color of blood. Jesus is known to be “clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God” (Revelation 19:13). By this time, you should now have the FEELING someone really wants to be someone else.

Deception no. 6: Burned in the furnace

We know that Santa enters homes through the chimney. Upon entering, his feet would land on the furnace. Read Revelation 1:15:

His [Jesus Christ] feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters.

Over and over again, we see how Satan has become the GREATEST IMPOSTOR to the point he has deceived the WHOLE world (Revelation 12:9). This must not surprise us because from the beginning Satan has always said:

“‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High’” Isaiah 14:13-14). Notice the number of “I”s; this is how self-centered Satan is.

Deception no. 7: Santa the Carpenter

We read in the scripture that Jesus is a carpenter (Mark 6:3). Again, Satan is so quick to copy any attribute of Jesus Christ. We know that Santa Claus is also told to be a carpenter.

Deception no. 8: Satan dwelling in the North Pole

It is quite shocking to know that the direction towards the north points to the throne of God. Satan knows this so he inspired people to also think he lives in the NORTH pole! I already mentioned Isaiah 14:13 where it says, “I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north”. The same thought can also be read in Psalm 48:1-2 and Ezekiel 8:14.

Deception no. 9: Elves, Santa’s helpers

I am really fascinated about how Santa Claus’ OBVIOUS satanic attributes are manifested and yet people don’t stop and question it. Again, we know that the ministers of Santa Claus are elves. We read the meaning of elf:

“A wandering spirit; a fairy; a hobgoblin; an imaginary being which our rude ancestors supposed to inhabit unfrequented places, and in various ways to affect mankind” (Merriam Dictionary).

We read in the scripture that Satan’s minions are called demons, angels who have rebelled together with Satan against God.

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:9).

Deception no. 10: Children lined up to sit on Santa’s lap

Jesus Christ is pictured as someone who loves Children:

“And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Permit the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God” (Mark 10:13-14).

But now, we see many children are lining up and waiting for their turn to be put on Santa’s lap. One of Satan’s ultimate goal is to destroy potential children of God. He knows that the most innocent and vulnerable are the children because of their young age. He wants to exploit this and use it in his advantage. Make no mistake, SATAN IS OUT THERE WITH GREAT RAGE TO DESTROY CHILDREN!

Final words

We must not be surprised how Satan has become the greatest impostor of all time. For it is written:

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works” (II Corinthians 11:13-15).

LET US OPEN OUR EYES to these TRUTHS! The persona of Santa Claus is among the most diabolic deceptions that are propagated every year in this pagan holiday! Let these words fall not on deaf ears, but rather do what you are able to do as a Christian. Fight Satan’s deceptive schemes! Make a stand. Stop being deceived. Say no to anything that has something to do with Satan! SAY NO TO SANTA CLAUS!
