Can a Homosexual be Saved? [1-minute video]

Transcript

A lot of Christians believe that homosexuals can’t be saved. However, what does the Bible really say?

Let’s read 1 Corinthians 6:9-10:

9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

As you can see, Paul listed homosexuals alongside other types of sinners. So, if you’re going to condemn homosexuals, then you should also condemn fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, and so on.

Thankfully, the Apostle Paul continued writing verse 11:

And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

This tells us that we can all change through the help of Yahweh and His Son. Yes, we are all sinners, but we are called to change for the better and become true followers of God.
