  1. Hi Joshua, I would be careful about promoting self help books . See Mr Armstrong always went back to the trunk of the tree in Genesis and explained that God allowed mankind to develop their own governments, ideologies, theories to the point that mankind decided right from wrong on its own after Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Solomon remarked that “But, my child, let me give you some further advice: Be careful, for writing books is endless, and much study wears you out.” I am saying this because one of the books you recommended used a curse word when God said not to allow any profane thing to emit out of our mouths…even in jest or just to make a point. Some of the books are good, but I would steer people to read the bible more than to pursue after mankinds opinion of how to live. D

    • Hi Don,

Thanks for your comment. I appreciate it.

I was actually thinking the same thing. I looked for a new way earning a living online and thought that self-help books would be a good option. I also started with other religious books.

I put a disclaimer that the lists I give are for reference and informational purposes only.

The lists are actually directed to people outside of the church. I’ll definitely remove the one that has profane title.

      Regards,
      Joshua
