Where will Artificial Intelligence Lead Us?

This one hits close to home.

For the first time in human history, we are creating something that can think, learn, predict, and even imitate life itself. Artificial intelligence is no longer a concept from science fiction—it’s here.

It’s learning.

It’s evolving.

And it’s advancing faster than anyone imagined.

In 2025 alone, AI exploded into nearly every area of life.

It wrote books, composed music, generated human voices, created realistic videos, replaced jobs, analyzed emotions, and even made decisions that once required human judgment.

Education, medicine, warfare, finance, surveillance, and spirituality—AI has touched them all. What once took decades now happens in months, and the speed of advancement shows no signs of slowing.

The Bible warned us that in the last days, knowledge would increase dramatically.

“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
—Daniel 12:4

We are witnessing that prophecy in real time. Knowledge has never multiplied at this pace. Information has never moved so fast. Machines are learning, adapting, and evolving in ways that challenge human imagination.

But here’s the part that should make us pause: technology itself is not evil. AI is not inherently demonic.

The danger lies in power without wisdom, knowledge without morality, and intelligence without truth. These are the ingredients for destruction.

Scripture warns of a time when deception will become so convincing that—even if possible—it could deceive the very elect (Matthew 24:24).

And in our age, deception doesn’t need to look false. AI can now generate voices that sound exactly like real people, create videos of events that never occurred, and manipulate images, speech, and information with precision.

Truth itself is becoming harder to identify. And when truth blurs, control becomes easier.

The book of Revelation describes a future system where buying, selling, communication, and worship are tightly regulated—a world where allegiance is tracked, enforced, and monitored (Revelation 13:16-17).

For generations, this seemed impossible. Today, the tools exist. The infrastructure is being built in real time.

Paul warned that in the last days, humanity would be “lovers of self… lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power” (2 Timothy 3:2-5). Technology accelerates that problem.

It amplifies human nature—both good and evil. When morality collapses, intelligence doesn’t save us—it enslaves us.

And 2026 will only intensify this trend. AI will become faster, smarter, and more integrated into our daily lives. It will touch decisions we make, systems we rely on, and even the way we think. The question isn’t whether technology will advance—it will.

The real question is this:

Will humanity advance spiritually along with it?

Without truth, wisdom, and humility before God, intelligence alone becomes dangerous. Knowledge will increase, but only those grounded in God’s Word will truly understand what is happening. Only those rooted in truth will see through deception and navigate these unprecedented times with discernment.

AI is a tool—a reflection of human creativity and ingenuity—but it is also a mirror showing what happens when intelligence is separated from God.

2026 is a year to pay attention, to pray, and to strengthen your spiritual foundation. Because in a world where machines are learning faster than we can imagine, the most important wisdom is still the timeless wisdom of God.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
—Proverbs 1:7

The rise of AI is not just a technological revolution—it is a spiritual challenge. And how we respond will define not only our future but our ability to stand firm in the days to come.
