Let’s think about this for second.
To most people today, sexual purity feels outdated.
They’ll say, “Come on, everyone’s doing it,” or “As long as it doesn’t hurt anyone, it’s fine.”
Purity is mocked.
Chastity is laughed at.
Boundaries are treated like chains instead of guardrails.
But here’s the truth that nobody wants to admit: our culture is drowning in brokenness because we’ve abandoned purity.
Look around.
Broken marriages.
Addiction to pornography.
Casual hookups leaving people emptier than ever.
Teenagers growing up confused about sex, love, and identity.
Society promised us freedom without boundaries—but what did it deliver? Shame. Guilt. Heartbreak.
You see, purity isn’t some old-fashioned relic.
It’s God’s design for real joy, freedom, and intimacy.
📢 Do you want to learn more about sexual purity? If yes, I want to invite to read my full blog, “What Does the Bible Say About Masturbation? (Why It’s a Sin).”
When Paul wrote, “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality” (1 Thessalonians 4:3), he wasn’t trying to rob us of pleasure.
He was pointing us to something better.
God’s standards aren’t barriers—they’re blessings.
But here’s the problem: we’ve convinced ourselves that purity is impossible.
We excuse our sins by saying, “Well, everyone struggles.”
And yes, everyone does struggle.
But does that mean we surrender?
Or does it mean we fight harder because we know what’s at stake?
Sexual purity matters because your soul matters.
Because your future marriage matters.
Because your walk with God matters.
Every time you choose purity, you’re not just saying “no” to sin—you’re saying “yes” to intimacy with Yahweh, to a clean conscience, and to a peace that no pleasure in this world can rival.
Let me tell you something real: sin always overpromises and underdelivers.
Lust tells you, “This will satisfy you.”
But afterward, all you’re left with is regret and emptiness.
Purity tells you, “This will cost you.”
And it does.
Saying “no” isn’t easy.
But the reward?
A life free from chains.
A heart that beats with confidence before God.
A love story that isn’t written by temptation but by trust.
We need to stop asking, “Is purity still relevant?” and start asking, “Can we survive without it?”
The answer is no.
Without purity, our faith crumbles.
Our relationships suffer.
Our testimony is destroyed. Purity isn’t just relevant—it’s urgent.
And if we’re really honest, this conversation about sexual purity forces us to confront one of the most ignored struggles in the Christian walk: masturbation.
It’s the “secret sin” many don’t want to talk about, yet it’s destroying countless lives in silence.
So here’s my challenge to you: don’t just nod your head and move on.
Dive deeper.
Ask the hard questions.
If you really want to know what God says about this struggle—and why it matters more than you think—you need to read my full blog, “What Does the Bible Say About Masturbation? (Why It’s a Sin).”

It may not be an easy read, but it will be a life-changing one.
Because sometimes the truth that makes us uncomfortable is the very truth that sets us free.
