Is it okay for Christians to watch horror movies? Quick answer? No. It is not okay for Christians to watch horror movies. The mere fact that it is about death, demons, witchcraft, sorceries, cult, and other issues concerning Satan’s evil devices, makes it a movie that we, as Christians, need to avoid.
Ephesians 4:26-27 tells us:
“Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.
When we watch horror movies, we are giving a place to the devil. We are giving him a foothold in our lives. We are inviting him to come into our minds.
