You probably have seen a typical picture of Jesus. He is usually painted as someone with long hair, pale skin, and a somewhat effeminate appearance. However, is this actually an accurate picture of our Savior? More specifically, did Jesus, as a human being, had long hair?

Thankfully, the Bible tells us the answer.

We read in I Corinthians 11:14:

Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?

Jesus or properly known as Yahshua, inspired Paul to write this letter. Paul explained that it is a dishonor for a man to have long hair. 

Now, the question for us is this: would Christ have dishonored himself by wearing long hair? Obviously, the answer is no. This tells us that our Savior didn’t have long hair and the way He is depicted today is biblical inaccurate and wrong.
