📅 Calm in the storm – Daily Bible Reading

Today’s reading: Mark 4:35-41

Calm in the storm

Mark 4:35-41 gives us the story of when Yahshua calmed the storm.

This reminds me of how we should view life as followers of the Messiah.

As we look at world events, especially now that we see wars in action, we are bombarded by storms of life. As humans, it is natural to be worried and concerned.

However, we are not mere humans. We are children of the Most High Elohim.

Reading the story in Mark 4, it really doesn’t matter what happens outside of the boat. What matters is who is with you in the boat.

You see, the disciples of Christ forgot who they are with. They are with the Messiah. The storm didn’t bother Yahshua and so should the disciples.

We need to ask ourselves, “Who is in your boat?”

Is God in your life?

If so, then we must take courage.

Be faithful.

The Almighty is always in control.
