Have you ever asked yourself, Why should I preach the Gospel?
Isn’t it enough to just be a good person and attend church regularly?
Why go out of your way to tell people about Yahshua the Messiah?
Let me tell you something straight from the heart—I preach the Gospel not just because I can, but because I must. It’s more than a duty. It’s a burning fire in my bones I can’t contain.
Let me walk you through 4 powerful reasons why I preach the Gospel, and why you should too.

1. God Commanded It—And That’s Enough
Let’s begin here. Plain and simple.
Yahweh didn’t suggest we preach the Gospel. He commanded it.
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” – Mark 16:15, NKJV
This isn’t just for pastors or missionaries. This is for you and me.
If Yahshua (popularly known as Jesus Christ) is your Lord, then His last marching orders before ascending to heaven should be your first priority.
Why? Because obedience is love in action.
Too many of us live as though preaching the Gospel is optional. It’s not. It’s the heart of the Great Commission. If we truly love Yahshua, we’ll do what He says—even when it’s uncomfortable, unpopular, or inconvenient.
I preach the Gospel because I love the One who died for me.
And when He tells me to go, I don’t ask why—I just say yes.
2. A Curse is Pronounced on Those Who Don’t Preach the Gospel
This might sound harsh, but Scripture doesn’t sugarcoat the truth.
“For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!” – 1 Corinthians 9:16, NKJV
Paul didn’t preach for fame, money, or applause. He preached because there was a divine urgency pressing on his soul.
He said, “Woe is me…”—that’s not casual language. That’s grief. That’s burden. That’s judgment.
Let that sink in.
We often talk about being blessed. But do we ever pause to ask, What happens if I neglect the very thing God considers most urgent?
I don’t preach because I’m better than anyone. I preach because I don’t want to stand before Yahweh and hear, “Why did you stay silent when souls were dying?”
My silence could be someone else’s missed opportunity to know God.
That’s a risk I’m not willing to take.
3. Preaching Deepens My Faith
Here’s something most people don’t talk about:
Every time I preach the Gospel, my own faith grows stronger.
I’m reminded of who God is.
Of what Yahshua did for me.
Of the power of the cross and the miracle of grace.
You see, preaching isn’t just for them—it’s for me, too.
When I tell others about Yahshua, I relive the Gospel. I rehearse the truth. I awaken my own soul again. It’s like oxygen for my spirit.
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” – Romans 10:17, NKJV
The more I preach, the more I hear.
The more I hear, the more I believe.
The more I believe, the more I burn with passion for Him.
4. The World Is Dying Without the Truth
Look around.
Can’t you feel the hopelessness in the air?
People are drowning in sin, depression, confusion, and lies.
They’re searching for truth in all the wrong places—social media, self-help gurus, temporary pleasures.
But what they really need is the Gospel.
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” – John 8:32, NKJV
The Gospel sets people free—from guilt, from shame, from bondage.
How can I stay silent when the world is bleeding?
How can I hide the cure when people are spiritually dying all around me?
If you found the only medicine that heals a deadly disease, wouldn’t you shout it from the rooftops?
That’s what the Gospel is.
And I refuse to be a quiet Christian in a world that’s desperate for the truth.
