If there’s one thing that the war in Ukraine accomplished so far, it is this:
It has united European countries.
Why is this significant? What biblical prophecies does this fulfill? Where are we heading according to the Bible?
I’ll answer all those questions in just a moment.
For now, consider why Putin is now considered the man who united Europe:
- Finland and Sweden are now considering becoming NATO members. (This is unthinkable for these countries in the past decades).
- Germany increased its military spending by €100bn.
- Hungary broke away from Russia’s influence and sided with European democracies.
- From Poland to Ireland, Europe opens its borders for Ukrainian refugees.
After the Ukraine-Russia war, Brussels should erect a statue of Putin as the man who united Europe.
Now, all these are going to set the world stage for the emergence of a world superpower in the end times.
According to Bible prophecy, the two beasts mentioned in the book of Revelation will emerge from Europe. The first beast would be a great military power while the second beast would be an influential religious figure who will deceive many.

Even before Russia-Ukraine war, european countries were already united that’s why we have EU and Euro currency.
Yes there are lots of prophecies written in the bible. Unfortunately there are also lots of self- proclaimed christians out there who interpret the bible from their own understanding and knowledge based on their traditions, beliefs and situation in their life . In the end, it will just looks like they are making stories and fantasies.
