What Billionaire Elon Musk Said About Jesus

There are approximately 2,600 billionaires in the world. With a global population of eight billion people, billionaires make up a minuscule 0.00008% (zero point zero, zero, zero, zero 8%) of the world’s population.  Thus, when billionaires talk, a lot of people listen.

One recent example was when billionaire Elon Musk shared his thoughts about Jesus. Both Christians and non-Christians paid close attention to what the richest person on Earth had to say about the Savior of mankind. (For those who don’t know Elon Musk, he was considered to be the richest man in the world. You can read more about him in this biography.)

Bible verses for elon musk and workaholics

During an interview with The Babylon Bee, a popular Christian satire website, Elon Musk expressed his views on Christianity. While the interview covered a wide range of topics over an hour and thirty minutes, what particularly stood out was his perspective on religion.

Here’s the YouTube video where you can watch the full interview.

In that interview, the interviewer asks Musk if he wants to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

In this interview, the interviewer asked Musk if he wanted to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Musk didn’t answer with a simple “yes,” but rather, he expressed respect for and agreement with the principles advocated by Jesus. He also mentioned that he had prayed for his SpaceX project.

It’s quite astonishing to know what the world’s billionaires think about religion, especially the Christian Faith.

In the interview, Musk recognized Jesus, or more accurately, Yahshua, as a wise teacher, and he agreed with Christ’s teachings, particularly on turning the other cheek. However, he disagreed with the “eye for an eye” principle.

However, did you know that both of these teachings are in the Bible? The problem is that the eye for an eye principle is taken out of context. You can read my full blog here to explain this verse.

Musk also touched on other important topics like forgiveness and the golden rule. However, when pressed to accept Christ into his life, Musk responded, “As Einstein would say, I believe in the God of Spinoza.”

Well, if that’s what you believe, then you don’t really believe the God in the Scripture. Baruch Spinoza, a 17th-century Dutch philosopher, held the view that God is not a personal deity but rather the totality of existence, with natural laws governing the universe as expressions of God’s nature.

This brings to mind what the Apostle Paul wrote thousands of years ago:

26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called

27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence.

1 Corinthians 1:26-29

So, don’t be surprised if you don’t see the world’s billionaires attending church services. Don’t be surprised that most of the world’s popular and most influential people are not spiritually active.

While you can’t do anything about them, you can continue to shine as a light to this dark world so that when people see your example, they will glorify our Father in heaven.

  1. Jesús said : it is easier fir a camel ti get through a needle eye than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom if God.

  2. We must know we are sinners can’t save ourselves we bring nothing to the table only believing in his death burial and resurrection his shed blood paid our sin debt in full it is not about any religion it’s our relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior
