Do you want to be happier? Then, be grateful.

But you may ask, “How can I be grateful?”

Here’s a rare answer you don’t hear every day:

Apply the Law of Focus.

Law of Focus?

What’s what?

Basically, the Law of Focus states that what you focus on grows.

Here, let me give you an example.

When you don’t have a car, you probably don’t care about gas stations. But once you have one, suddenly you memorize the locations of all gas stations in your city. It doesn’t mean that the gas stations suddenly increased in numbers, but you simply focused more on them.

Another example is when you take the stairs. How many of you actually counted its steps? Most of the time, you simply see a stair, but you don’t observe it.

You see them as a whole, but when you focus on them, you start to see each step and begin to appreciate its details.

Quote Contentment is not always the fulfillment of what you want. It's the realization of how blessed you are for what you already have.

That’s the Law of Focus – it allows you to see what you don’t normally see.

Now, what happens when you use the Law of Focus to your advantage?

What if starting today, you start to focus more on the things that you have rather than the things you don’t have?

What if you start focusing on the good things in your life?

What if you look at the bright side of every situation?

Now, for each day you focus on your blessings, guess what will happen: your blessings will increase!

You start to notice the blessings you don’t normally see and appreciate.

When you focus more on what God has given you and how His goodness and grace have carried you on until this day, you become more thankful.

You become happier, feel blessed, and most importantly, closer to God!

The best thing about the Law of Focus is that it grows, magnifies, and multiplies the things you focus your mind into.

You want to have more blessings? Then focus on your blessings.

Your positive attitude will not only help you see the many blessings you normally don’t notice, but the Law of Focus will also attract more blessings!

At this point, let me warn you.

The Law of Focus is a two-edged sword.

If it works positively, it also works negatively.

If you use the Law of Focus on the negative things – you complain, criticize, whine, bicker, and argue all the time – without any shadow of a doubt, you will eventually become the LONELIEST PERSON in the world.

No one would miss you when die.

People might even be happy and say, “Good riddance!”

So, in this year’s Thanksgiving Day, use the Law of Focus to become more grateful.

Focus on your blessings.

Focus on the good things in your life.

Even if you are in the midst of trial, if you use the Law of Focus, let me assure you, you will STILL find something that you should be thankful for.

No wonder the Apostle Paul wrote in I Thessalonians 5:16-18:

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

[Do you want to become develop an unshakable faith? If yes, read my eBook, “The Eleventh Chapter of Hebrews.”]

Whether you are up and down, full or hungry, happy or sad, healthy or sick – you need to give thanks.

You know why?

Because it is the will of God!

You want to know the will of God, right?

Here it is. Plain and simple – give thanks in everything.

That’s what God wants to see in your life.

It is my sincerest hope that Thanksgiving Day would be more than just turkey and potato for you and your family.

Don’t waste it.

Use this day to focus on God’s blessings, goodness, mercy, and grace.

Let this remind you that in spite of the chaos and mess you see in this world, life is still beautiful because of God.

Happy Thanksgiving Day!

  1. Thank you, Joshua!

So true that we ask for favors from God, receive them in abundance but forget to thank Him for them!
