Warning: Graphic Image Illustrates the Truth About Crossing the Border

A photo recently surfaced in the mainstream media has gone viral. It’s a photo of the tragic death of a young father and his daughter who attempted to cross the US-Mexico border. The problem is, no one’s talking about the truth about illegal immigration.

Expression of empathy, outrage, and anguish is currently pouring over the viral photo of a young father and daughter photo who drowned while crossing the Rio Grande from Mexico to enter the United States illegally.

(Warning: Graphic Image – this article contains an image that some viewers may find disturbing. Viewer discretion is advised.)

Father and daughter died crossing the US-Mexico border

Oscar Alberto Martinez Ramirez was only 25 years old and his 23-month-old daughter was found lying face down near a river bank.

The gut-wrenching photo shows Ramirez inserted her daughter inside his shirt to probably make sure she won’t be washed away by the water.

Her daughter, Valerie, is seen to have her right arm wrapped around the neck of her father, suggesting she clung to him in their final moments together.

Looking at the photo, I felt deep sadness for this father and his baby daughter.

As a parent, I can’t imagine having my child die in my arms. I can just imagine the horror they have to go through until they met their final end.

I’m not the only one who feel great grief for this family.

Anyone who sees that photo would be greatly moved. And what’s more disturbing is that these father and daughter are just part of a greater problem that this world is facing right now.

tragic death

All around us, thousands are dying by the minute because of man-made problems that could easily be solved if only people would stop being greedy and selfish.

As expected, the liberals and those who are against the Trump administration are quick to put the blame on the White House.

Former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke said in a tweet. “Trump is responsible for these deaths.” He was joined by Pelosi, Sanders, and other democrats.

The media has painted this story with great drama and used it to advance the leftist agenda.

The truth you need to hear

Here’s the truth that you will not hear from the mainstream media:

“The United States of America is not at fault here.”

Some people might disagree, but every country has its sovereign right to protect its borders.

The United States government has its responsibility to protect its own people.

The law is clear. If you want to enter the US, you need to do it legally. Sometimes, breaking the law would lead to paying the penalty with your life.

If you read the backstory of Alberto and Valeria, you would know a deeper problem. The father is an economic immigrant.

He was in Mexico waiting for two months to get in the United States. Imagine that, two months!

I know of a lot of people who waited not just months, but years to gain the legal rights to enter the United States.

It was further found out that the father and his wife are planning to file a false asylum claim.

As sad as what happened to the family, we know that they could have made a better decision.

Everyone knows the danger of crossing the border illegally. In 2018, almost 300 people died because of this hazardous journey.

Perhaps, instead of pointing their fingers to the Trump administration, those critics should find a way to help these migrants IN THEIR COUNTRY.

Why not help these people better their lives from where they are right now?

Of course, they won’t think of that because they have their hidden agenda.

I once saw a video of people rallying against Trump’s immigration policy.

They carry signs saying, “migrants are welcome.”

A reporter asked one person from the group:

“You are fighting against the government’s policy of strengthening the border. If a migrant crosses the border, are you willing to take them in your house?”

The person who was interviewed paused for a second and said, “No.” The reporter answered back, “Who is going to take care of the immigrants?”

No answer was further given.

As you can see, it is easy to say “bring them in.” But if it comes to actually doing what’s necessary to help these immigrants, only a few are willing to do the work.

Yes, the photo was an image of tragedy. But if you look back and see the bigger picture, you will see that there are greater evils in this world.

No one should die crossing the border.

No one is supposed to be forced to leave their country in search of a better life.

No one is supposed to live a life filled with fear for their lives.

But still, we see people dying for the same reasons.

The only hope mankind has

The Bible is clear why we see a lot of evil in this world. We read:

“But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them: (II Corinthians 4:3-4).

Satan is the god of this world. Thus, it is not a great wonder to see a lot of suffering around us.

As Christians, we must do what we can do and leave everything in the hands of God.

The more evil we see, the more we need to pray, “Thy Kingdom come.”

I look forward to the time when this world would be put under the authority of God. Speaking of that day, Revelation 21:2-5 tells us:

Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be NO MORE DEATH, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

Today, we cry and sigh. But the promise of the coming Kingdom of God is real. We can all put our confidence in that.

May God speed that day!

  1. It is a sad situation.. I have heard that many of the photos that go viral are man made photos..
If this is true, it only insights more hatred that we could do without..
There are horror stories of young girls and their mothers being violated while on the way to cross the border.. It is heartbreaking, and I wish they could see the chances they are taking..

    • I know, this is just the tip of the iceberg. There are still more horrible untold stories of suffering and pain out there. All the more we need to pray for God’s Kingdom to be established here on earth.
