Help Us Keep God’s Feast

“For we walk by faith, not by sight” (II Corinthians 5:7).

That’s exactly what we are doing right now as we move closer to the Fall Festival.

We are a small flock of God’s Church in the Philippines, though we have other attendees via Skype from other countries. We are in need of your financial support to keep God’s Feasts. If you wish to help us in a meaningful way, please visit this GoGetFunding account to make a donation.

For more information about our group, please visit our official website, Church of God, Philippines.

Every year, we keep God’s mandated Feasts listed in Leviticus 23. These Feasts were also kept by Yahshua (Jesus Christ) Himself as well as the Apostles and the New Testament Church. These Feasts reveal God’s plan of salvation and will even be observed by all of mankind when Christ will finally establish God’s Kingdom here on earth.

For reference, please check these verses: Exo.23:14-17; Lev. 23; Luke 2:41-42; 22:14-15; John 7:2,8,10,14; Acts 2:1; 18:21; 20:16; 1 Cor. 5:8; 15:22-26; 16:8; Col. 2:16-17; Jas. 1:18; Zec.14:16-19.

For this year, the Fall Festival will occur on October 11, which starts with the Feast of Trumpets. This will be followed by the Day of Atonement on October 20, the Feast of Tabernacles on October 25-31 and finally ends with the Last Great Day on November 1.

Our greatest challenge every year is limited finances. Not all of us are financially capable of keeping God’s Feasts. As hard as we try to be faithful in our tithes and offerings, there are still some of us who don’t have enough funding to go to the Feast.

The place where we are going to keep the Feast of Tabernacles requires us to pay half of the total price as a down payment a month before we intend to use their facility. This means that we need to come up with at least half of the amount on or before September 25, 2018.

My heart breaks for the brethren who do not have the ability to keep the Feast financially. For this reason, on behalf of my brethren, I would like to ask for your kind consideration and look upon our situation with mercy and favor.

Christ said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened (Matthew 7:7-8).

What I’m asking isn’t too big. You can sponsor one individual for as low as $120. That would be enough for one person to keep the whole Feast. 1 US dollar is equivalent to 52 Philippine pesos and so, as you can imagine, your small help would be multiplied and will result in making a BIG difference. If you can’t sponsor one person, any amount would still be greatly appreciated. Small donations, when gathered together, would surely make a dent.

If you wish to help us with this noble and God-ordained endeavor, you can make a donation through this GoGetFunding account. If you have a difficulty in making a donation through that link, please let me know and I can give you other means of helping our faithful brethren keep the Feast.

We know that our resources are limited. However, God has greater supplies. He promised to provide all that is needed for us to keep anything that He has commanded us to do.

We may not be able to pay you back for your kindness, but I’m confident that God will bless you in ways unimaginable. As what our Master and Savior said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35).

The Apostle Paul added:

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith” (Colossians 6:9-10).

With this in mind, I hope you would give my request a very kind consideration.

Thank you so much in advance.

Until He comes,
Joshua
