Did you ever feel that God can’t help you with your problem?

Have you ever doubted God every time the storm of life comes crashing on you?

Are you nearing your breaking point and you’re about to lose hope?

If yes, then you need to realize something:

We are serving the God who can do the impossible things!

God, with all His majesty and power, can do what is impossible for us humans. He isn’t bound by the natural laws of this universe. He is outside the realm of time, matter, and space. He can do anything and everything that will fulfill His purpose.

We might have great demands, but here’s the good news, God has greater supplies.

God has already planned all things out. Every provision He has already stored for us along the way.

Nothing, I say, NOTHING, has been overlooked.

God already knew our needs and He promised to meet all of them. Yes, we are poor in ourselves, but we are serving the richest Being in the entire universe.

Do you know why you should keep the faith and never lose hope in spite of all your problem?

Serving the God who can do the Impossible Things!

What does it mean to serve the God who can do the Impossible?

Because we serve the God of the impossible.

In time’s past, God has parted the Red Sea for the Israelites to escape certain death at the hands of the most powerful military force in their time. The Israelites were trapped. In front of them was the Red Sea. On their side are great mountains. Behind them is the great army of the ferocious pharaoh.

All logic would tell us that they have already met their end, except, that didn’t happen. God made the impossible. God defied the natural law of the universe. He sent a strong wind to cause the Sea to depart. Not only that, but He sent darkness to the Egyptian army and light to the Israelites. God sent a pillar of fire to hold them off at arm’s length and destroyed their chariots.

All these are supposed to be impossible, but God did the impossible.

It was impossible for the sun to stand still during Joshua’s fight against the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon.

Just imagine what incredible miracle it takes to stop the earth from rotating. Remember, the earth rotates on its axis about 1,040 miles per hour and if you suddenly stop that, it will cause all living things to die.

It would mean the sure destruction of the entire human race. But it didn’t. Why? Because we are serving the God who can do the impossible.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, thousands of years ago, could have died in the fiery furnace. Surely, it is impossible for them to escape the great wrath of King Nebuchadnezzar. But God delivered them. The law of physics tells us that they should have been consumed by the intense heat of the furnace, but they didn’t. Why, because again, they were serving the God who controls the elements.

The Kingdom of Judah could have been destroyed by the Assyrian Army led by Sennacherib. They have already destroyed the northern kingdom and it is just a matter of time before they would conquer the Kingdom of Judah.

For this, King Hezekiah prayed to God and ask for deliverance. Any military general and even ordinary people would say that Judah didn’t have a chance to win. With a limited number of soldiers and limited resources, defeat is looking them in the eyes.

However, that didn’t happen. Instead, God sent an angel to the Assyrian camp and killed 185,000 soldiers. All that happened without a single sword raised by the Israelites.

Impossible? Of course, it is! However, we are serving the God of the impossible.

It was impossible for Christ to walk on water, to raise Lazarus from the dead, feed thousands of people with just five loaves of bread and two fish, to turn water into wine, to give sight to the blind, and to heal the sick.

It is impossible for God to send the great flood during the time of Noah. It is impossible for God to turn the Nile River to blood, cause the wall of Jericho to fall flat, and other miracles recorded in the Bible.

What’s my point in bringing all these miracles to your attention? Because sometimes, we forget that God is still performing miracles today.

If God has the time to make a donkey talk, wouldn’t it be a more important matter for God to provide our needs, His beloved Children?

If God was able to create the heavens and the earth, how much more would he meet our needs for us to keep His commandments?

The problem with us today is that we set limits to what God can do.

We tell ourselves, “Yes, God can do the impossible, but He can’t help us with… (fill in the blank).”

That’s one of the most dangerous false beliefs that we have as followers of God.

When Sarah doubted God, He said, “Is anything too hard for the Lord.”

When Isaiah doubted God, He said, “Is My hand shortened at all that I cannot redeem?”

When Paul said, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” do we believe that?”

Do we accept the statement Apostle John wrote: “If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us?”

When Christ tells us, “With God all things are possible,” Do we believe Him?

I admit, I still struggle with doubt. Most often than not, we are like the father of the demon-possessed child who cried out in tears to Yahshua, saying, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

Brethren, we serve the God of the impossible. If He has helped His people in the past, if He has performed great, awesome, and incredible miracles to save His people, He will also perform a great miracle for us during this time.

As we pray for the God’s mighty deliverance, let us heed the powerful words of Moses, “Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord!”

So, don’t lose hope. Keep the faith. Stand strong and don’t get discouraged.

God will perform a miracle for you today!

  1. I have really enjoyed reading your articles. You have helped me out so many times. I feel like it’s now my turn to help you out.

You are so wonderful when it comes to taking the Bible and showing how we can use it today to figure out life. I think that you missed something within this article. You stated one thing from the Bible yet turned it around when explaining it. Take a look…

“It was impossible for THE SUN TO STAND STILL during Joshua’s fight against the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon.
Just imagine what incredible miracle it takes to STOP THE EARTH FROM ROTATING. Remember, the earth rotates on its axis about 1,040 miles per hour and if you suddenly stop that, it will cause all living things to die.”

Do you see what you did? The Bible states that the SUN stood still. You then took it and said the EARTH stopped rotating. This is where a lot of people do not see eye to eye. I take everything the Bible says as my truth. Yes, I grew up in the education system that was designed to pull us away from God and the truth and was taught that the earth is a big ball rotating around the moon and sun just like the other “planets” in an enormous galaxy. This ball we live in is not special, and other “lives” may exist in the enormous galaxy. Then I decided to read the Bible myself, from The Old Testament through The New Testament and my knowledge of this earth changed.

Why would the Bible say that the SUN STOOD STILL if in reality it was the earth? Wouldn’t the Bible say the EARTH STOOD STILL? Yes, it would. So from this small little sentence we can know that the earth DOES NOT rotate. Instead THE SUN and THE MOON ROTATE AROUND THE EARTH!!!!!! God stopped the sun from rotating!!!! How wonderful is that?!?!?!

Understanding that small sentence makes you see the lie we have been taught in the education system. Remember that God tells us that Satan is ruler of this world!!! He rules the education system as well as the government, NASA and other things so that the LIES look like the truth.

    • Hi kbluntly!

Thanks for sharing your insight. However, I’d have to respectfully disagree.

The Bible tells us that the sun stood still from the perspective of Joshua and other people during that time. Joshua was writing from His perspective.

Like when the Bible refers to the King of the South and King of the North. If you look into the map, these are not really in the north and south, but they are actually from the perspective of Jerusalem. In the same manner, when people call the South China Sea, that’s the perspective of the Chinese, however, in our country, we call that the West Philippine sea.

That’s my take on that, kbluntly. 🙂

      Cheers,
      Joshua
