10 of Lifes Greatest Questions Asked In The Bible and Their Answers

Here are the most astounding questions ever asked in the Bible as well as their answers.

1. Job 14:14

Question: If a man dies, shall he live again?

Answer: Yes, man shall live after he dies.

Job, who in the middle of his suffering, ask a simple and yet profound question. Man has always been mystified and INTRIGUED by the subject of death. It is something that is feared and avoided. Thankfully, there is a promise of resurrection, a time after death that we will live again (I Corinthians 15:52).

2. Mark 8:36

Question: For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Answer: Ultimately… nothing.

Yahshua or Jesus is saying if your ultimate goal in life is just to gain material things, sad to say, you are committing the biggest mistake.

Life is too short to chase the wrong things. Jesus is presenting here something that we all must strive for – a reward that goes beyond this physical existence, ETERNAL LIFE.

Even if you combine all the wealth of this world, it will all amount to nothing compared to “the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” (I Corinthians 2:9).For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul

3. Psalms 8:4

Question: What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him?

Answer: Man is God’s greatest creation and has the potential to be part of the Family of Yahweh.

Though we are made a little lower than the angels, mankind has an INCREDIBLE destiny. Man is destined to be like God (I John 3:2) and rule with Him for eternity. God so loved the world that He is willing to sacrifice His only Son to redeem us from sin (John 3:16).

4. Genesis 18:14

Question: Is any thing too hard for Yahweh?

Answer: Nothing.

God is omnipotent, omniscient, all-powerful, and mighty. He can do anything according to His will and purpose. With this in mind, we can have the confidence that GOD WILL ALWAYS BE IN CONTROL and that no matter what life brings, it will ultimately be for our own good.

5. Luke 6:46

Question: And why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Answer: Disobedience leads rebellion and sin.

This shows us that worshiping God should not be based on what we want. We cannot tell Jesus that we believe in Him and yet, go on with our lives doing our own thing. Though we might be doing “good” things in His name, if it does not coincide with His will and commandments, then it will all boil to nothing.

6. James 4:14

Question: What is your life?

Answer: “It is even a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away” (James 4:14).

Our life is ASTRONOMICALLY too short when you compare that to the eternal life God is offering us. The average age of man according to the Bible is 70 years (Psalm 90:10).

Our existence is very BRIEF.

Knowing this, we must set our priorities straight. We must put God’s kingdom and His righteousness first (Matthew 6:33) to make sure we are living our life’s purpose.

7. Matthew 14:31

Question: O you of little faith, why did you doubt?

Answer: Doubting is a reflection of a lack of faith.

We all have times in our lives when we are filled with doubts and fear. It is completely human to experience this. However, we must all strive to have a STRONGER and living faith. It is through faith that we please God (Hebrews 11:6) and we must ask God to increase our faith daily (Mark 9:24).

8. Matthew 19:16

Question: “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?”

Answer: “If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments” (verse 17).

It is fascinating that the answer of Yahshua our Messiah (Jesus Christ) will contradict the answers of many pastors today. It is not enough to just believe in Christ and pray the sinner’s prayer.

That is so SUPERFICIAL!

Jesus is after a converted life. We must be willing to obey Him whatever He asks us to do.

9. II Peter 3:12

Question: “Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you…?”

Answer: We ought to be walking worthy of the high calling God has given us (Ephesians 4:1).

The Apostle Peter is telling us that why should we be spending all our life and energy chasing physical and worldly rewards when all these things would be dissolved at the end?

In Peter’s mind, this is ILLOGICAL. We must not exchange eternity for something that is just temporary.

10. Hebrews 13:6

Question: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Answer: Ultimately, nothing.

Yes, it is true that the worst people can do to us is to take our life. However, that all ends there.

We have a God who can bring us back to life.

If it is according to God’s purpose, He will protect us from all forms of evil. He has promised DIVINE PROTECTION for all His people. Therefore, we must not fear men, but God.

We ought to obey God, rather than men ( Acts 5:29).
